Series Standings

March 13, 2006. The results are in from the Hunting Island Race.  Follow the results link from www.actioncarolina.com to see them.  It was a perfect day for racing on Hunting Island.  Jack Cunningham, Mike Loggins and the Sea Island Rotary did a fine job of  producing the event as usual.  A strong contingency of WC participants showed up and threw a couple of new cards into the deck.  Chuck Hiers earned a well deserved victory in the overall category outpacing the competition by nearly two minutes.  Katie Felton brought home the trophy for the women for the second year in a row.  Jeff Sosa finished second, Chris Williams third, Jack Cunningham finished fifth, Adam Dewitt sixth and David Blakely seventh.  Lisa Williams and Heather Peebles, Team Fox Force Three, finished second in the female touring relay category.  Robert Osborne led his team to the top male relay touring spot.  Also among WC participants competing were Doug Thompson, Larry Brown, Dan Kelly and Libby Folk, all of whom it seemed had a successful event.
